How do I request NEIU Library items be held for me?


Current NEIU students, faculty, and staff can request NEIU Library items be held at the Circulation Desk. Hold requests need to be made in WorldCat Discovery by the person making the request and cannot be made by phone. This service includes delivery among the CCICS Library, the Library Resource Center at El Centro, UCLC, and the Main Library.

Make the request by searching in WorldCat Discovery for the item then selecting the Request Item Be Held button. Once logged in, choose your pickup location. .NEI Circulation = circulation desk on the 1st floor of the Main Library .NEI ELCENTRO = El Centro Library and Learning Resource Center .NEI UCLC = UCLC .NEI CCICS = CCICS Library You will receive an email once the item is available for pickup. Items will be held for pickup for 7 days.
